Painted Turnings
WT20195—This handcrafted platter was turned by Valerie from a piece of Black Locust. Jo Sonja iridescent paints were used to decorate the rim of the platter. The rest of the turning has been treated with a blend of oils and buffed with a coat of carnauba wax. The turning is food safe. The platter is 8 3/8”W x 1 ¾”H and cost $130. |
WT20279—This handcrafted bowl was turned by Valerie from a piece of Sycamore. Deco Art Americana iridescent paints were used to decorate the outside of the bowl. The rest of the turning has been treated with a blend of oils and buffed with a coat of carnauba wax. The turning is food safe. The bowl is 4 ½”W x 4 1/8”H and cost $95. |

WT20276—This handcrafted bowl was turned by Valerie from a piece of Oak that came from a tree at Duquesne Elementary School that was destroyed by the EF-5 tornado that hit Joplin, MO on May 22, 2011.
