Wood Turnings

The wood turnings that you see on these page are just a representation of the many different bowls, hollow forms/vases and platters that we turn and that are available at The Wooden Doerr.  Each turning is truly a one-of-a-kind piece of art, as the grain and shape of the wood determines the appearance and shape of each turning.  All turnings are signed, numbered and dated.  If you have a specific wood species, shape or size that you would like to have crafted in a turning  please contact us at [email protected].  Many of our customers have requested turnings from trees on their property that have been cut down or destroyed.  Customers interested in purchasing bowls or hollow forms (vases) may contact The Wooden Doerr to identify specific size, shape and material.  General pricing estimates for a bowl start at $12 per inch of diameter and general pricing estimates for a hollow form starts at $15 per linear inch (length plus height).  Prices are also dependent on wood characteristics/coloration and design shape.
